Use Grid View in Google Drive to View Students as They Work
There is a way to view all of the documents your students are working on at once. After having students share their work with you, put all of the documents into a folder. While the students are working, open that folder and switch the view to "grid".
While in grid view, you can see the student work as they are typing. You can click on a document and call your student over as you need to have a conference and discuss the assignment.
